Hope shared with the soul: two days of solidarity at the Fraternita CSS charity shop in Baia Mare
On July 12 and 13, 2025, the charity shop of the Caritate Sobrietate Tăcere Association – Fraternita CSS, located on Vasile Lucaciu Street, no. 57, Baia Mare, hosted a profound social action, full of emotion and generosity. In a joint effort of volunteers, the local community and the Food Bank of Maramureș, food and daily use products were offered to those living in deprivation and insecurity.
This humanitarian intervention is part of the “San Giuseppe Moscati” project, a program launched by Fraternita CSS that aims to concretely support people in extreme situations – not only with material goods, but with respect, care and dignity.
Under the coordination of Rino Senatore, the president of the association and the soul behind these initiatives, the event managed to mobilize the hearts of those involved and bring light to the lives of dozens of families in need. The presence of the volunteers, their energy and the involvement of the partners transformed a simple food distribution into a moment of authentic human communion.

For some, it may seem like little. For others, it is the small miracle they needed to be able to move forward. In a fast-paced and sometimes indifferent world, Fraternita CSS reminds us that humanity means stopping, looking around, and saying, “I’m here. I can help.”
And together, we can be the beginning of hope in the lives of those who have almost given up.
